Brief Play Description:
Use the gamepad to control your player. Left analog stick moves. B button attacks. A button possesses another innocent. Only you can see which player you are controlling.
Your primary job is to hide yourself in the crowd, pretending to be regular, normal, predictable. When you possess one, you certainly look like any other innocent, but can you move and act like one too? Watch the other innocents milling about and try to spot the tells of other assassins like yourself. If you spot one--maybe moving a little more erratically than seems normal, maybe stuttering for a moment, maybe even carelessly attacking--then try to sidle towards it carefully (but not too obviously!) and then you can strike once you get within range.
Be careful! Any attack will surely reveal your presence to the other assassins and will put you into danger. To throw off any pursuit, be sure to switch bodies and possess another innocent as soon as possible. You'll be stunned for a second as you change, but this will give you the time to start pretending to be like your new host.
Killing innocents needlessly is frowned upon. However, if you manage to take out an assassin with your attack, the destruction of innocent bystanders will be forgiven.
Consider picking up some power cores (by attacking them) to further your cause. They won't help you as much as killing other assassins, but they sure are shiny! Beware, innocents don't know what to do with power cores, so picking one up will certainly betray your identity.
May the best assassin win.
